Where you get to stay
The base of operations for your adventure is Talkeetna, Alaska an historic town overlooking the confluence of three major rivers and 2 major Mountain ranges. Denali and the other peaks of the Alaska Range offer a magnificent backdrop for this picturesque town of 900+ souls. You get to choose between our many lodging options from beautifully rustic to 4-star Hotel and choices between, I will take care of everything.

- Homestead Tour and meet a fabulous dog team! We will play with amazing sled dogs and learn to harness your power. Any season.

- Flightseeing Denali and our amazing Susitna Valley. Any season.
- Tundra adventure with a pack of free-roaming huskies to a special wild place, gorgeous scenery. Walk or snowshoe depending on season.
- Swim & Paddleboard natural lakes with loon looking on
- Raft the Talkeetna River, a wonderful way to see wildlife and the scenery. July.
- Hatcher Pass in the Talkeetna Mountains, walk the high tundra, gather berries in July and view glaciers. Snowshoe in winter.
- Bonfire and Sauna ceremony Alaska-style, any season.
- Learn to mush a team of sled dogs in February.

If you are coming from outside Alaska, fly into Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Anchorage is Alaska’s largest city at about 300,000 people, and the closest major airport to Talkeetna. I will pick you up at the airport or your hotel and we’ll make the beautiful two-hour drive north to Talkeetna. I will also get you back to Anchorage at the end of our Adventure.
The Alaska Railroad is another spectacular way to travel, and can be an option for you if you like trains!

Investment includes all your on-site activities and adventures! Accommodations, all meals, coaching sessions, as well as pre-trip assistance are included. All gear is provided.
Your payment is due in full at time of booking or you may place a $1999 non-refundable deposit with the balance due 2 months prior to the Adventure. Any cancellation forfeits $1999.00. Cancellations within 2 months of your Adventure, and the entire amount is non-refundable.

Our friendly town is home to adventurous souls, people who build planes, boats, paddles, houses, children, music, plays, dog teams, community centers, fix things, create, shape and beautify the world. I want you to come here and share this spirit to make your own of the beautiful life you have.
You will have many opportunities to experience the daily awe I live with in this magnificent natural environment. Then, I will show you techniques for seeking and finding awe everywhere. Researchers have linked Awe with healthier immune systems, so lets get out there and experience more awe!
